Born in Fort Worth, Texas. Dacota Deaver exhibited signs of musicianship at an early age. At six years old he was given his first guitar and was instantly attracted to the sound of the strings. His family soon learned that lessons were a waste of money because he eventually taught himself to play. At the age of twelve he relocated to South Texas. Where he soon met his first mentor, Johnny Rodriguez. After graduating from Orange Grove High school, Dacota quickly learned what life was like on the road with Johnny.
Around this time he began to write his own music in the Texas country music scene with a rock-n-roll twist. At the beginning of 2018 he formed whats now the Dacota Deaver Band and began playing shows all over Texas and the surrounding states with acts such as Zane Williams, Roger Creager, Jon Wolfe, and many more. His music can currently be heard on all music platforms and radio stations. During 2019 the Dacota Deaver Band signed on with 1836 music group. A record label based out of San Marcos TX. He is currently working on an album to be released mid February of 2020.
